Immediate Moratorium on Foreign Aid

 

In 2023–24 the Australian Government will provide $4.77 billion in Official Development Assistance (ODA)

  • Indonesian foreign aid 2022-23: $326.1 million
  • Indonesian defence budget: $25 billion
  • Pakistan foreign aid 2022-23: $17.5 million
  • Pakistan defence budget: $9.537 billion
  • Indian foreign aid provided through DAP (Direct Aid Program)
  • Indian defence budget 2023: $112.09 billion
  • Chinese foreign aid provided through DAP (Direct Aid Program)
  • Chinese defence budget 2023: $333.4 billion

The Australian Government is sending taxpayers’ money to countries that are a potential future military threat.
